UX/UI Design • app • art events
the challenge
As part of Google's UX/UI specialization course, I developed Mira, a personal project focused on redefining how art events are discovered and shared in cities.
While many young people actively attend these events, there is no dedicated digital platform that centralizes them like other event categories. Mira aims to fill this gap by becoming a go-to hub for art-related activities, incorporating interactive features that make discovering and sharing events easier and more engaging.

The concept behind Mira is inspired by the experiential nature of art events. Each event is a journey, which is reflected in the app’s design elements. The event cards feature an arched shape, reminiscent of gallery entrances, while the ticket graphics incorporate background pathways that visually represent the event’s unique journey.
The user experience is designed to be as seamless and engaging as possible. The explore section suggests trending events and those best suited to the user’s interests, while the search page allows for precise event discovery. A wishlist lets users save their favorite events, and the tickets section provides access to digital passes for entry and collection. Additionally, a personal area is available for managing preferences and settings.
I also introduced a page dedicated to past tickets, designed as a collectible album to make the experience more engaging and interactive. Users can browse their previous events, share their collection with others, and relive the moments they’ve attended. This feature not only adds a personal touch but also encourages a sense of community around art events.
Each event has a dedicated page designed to showcase the artist and provide deeper insight into their work. This space allows users to explore the artist’s background, style, and inspirations, making the experience more immersive and enriching. By adding context and storytelling, the app encourages a greater appreciation of the event and the art behind it.
